Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) Project Funding 2015-2016 Round Now Open

The Australia-Indonesia Institute (AII) is now calling for applicants from Indonesia and Australia to submit project proposals aimed at strengthen people-to-people as well as institutional links and to deepen mutual understanding and cooperation between both countries.

The Institute supports programs which enhance relations between our two countries in the areas of arts and culture, education, science and technology, youth and sport, religion and civil society. The AII grants are intended to provide seed funding for projects initiatives relevant to the aims and objectives of the Institute, which must commence after June 2015. Project funding is awarded through a competitive selection process.

Applicants are encouraged to familiarise with Grant Guidelines, which are available at www.dfat.gov.au/people-to-people/foundations-councils-institutes/australia-indonesia-institute/grants/Pages/grants.aspx and provide all mandatory requested information and documentation. Applications must be completed and lodged on the system by Wednesday 4 March 2015, 5pm.

The AII was established by the Australian Government in 1989 to contribute to a more broadly based and enduring relationship between Australia and Indonesia.
