Synopsis
Set (Gerard Butler), the merciless god of darkness, has taken over the throne of Egypt after he defeated Egyptian god Horus (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) in a battle. The Egypt that once was a peaceful and prosperous empire under Horus is now plunged into darkness as Set enslaves the people for his own ambition.
Bek (Brenton Thwaites), a mortal young man who wants to end the misery, attempts to bring god Horus back to Egypt and conducts an insurgency in order to retake the throne from the hands of the god Set.
