2011 Endeavour Awards Open for Applications

Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Bill Farmer, is pleased to invite highly qualified candidates to apply for the 2011 Endeavour Awards.

The Endeavour Awards are an internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program providing opportunities for leading researchers and professionals to undertake short or long term study, research and professional development in a broad range of disciplines.

“Each year a number of Indonesians go to Australia under the Endeavour program - they come from many different backgrounds and undertake a broad range of study and unique professional development training,” Ambassador Farmer said.

“The recipients of these prestigious Awards will continue to strengthen research and professional linkages between Australia and Indonesia and enhance their professional careers in their chosen field,” he said.

The opportunities available for Indonesian scholars, researchers and professionals include: Endeavour Postgraduate Awards, Endeavour Australia Cheung Kong Research Fellowships, Endeavour Research Fellowships, Endeavour Executive Awards, Endeavour Vocational Education and Training (VET) Awards, and International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS).

“We encourage Indonesian scholars and professionals to apply and certainly hope there will be more Indonesians receiving the awards in 2011,” said Ambassador Farmer.
