Media Release

08 April 2021

Listen to exciting Australian experiences by alumni from Indonesia on the OzAlum Podcast. Over four podcast episodes, past students share their memories of studying and living in Australia – and detail what their experience in Australia has enabled them to achieve.

“Australia has world-class universities with a globally recognised education system. We hope this Podcast will inspire future Indonesian students to pursue study in Australia and to experience the very best our country has to offer,” said a spokesperson from the Australian Embassy in Indonesia.

The first episode of the OzAlum Podcast features Adrianus Hendrawan, an alumnus of the Australian Government’s Australia Awards scholarship who studied at the Australian National University in Canberra. Adrianus shares his experience as a line judge at the recent Australian Open Grand Slam tournament where Novak Djokovic, Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka, and Rafael Nadal competed.

“My family and I have always been a big fan of tennis and sharing a stage with great tennis champions is something I never even dreamed of. It’s remarkable how studying in Australia has allowed me to achieve successes in my professional and personal life,” said Adrianus Hendrawan.
