Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Penny Williams PSM, invites Australian alumni in Indonesia to attend a “Nobar” with OzAlum in Jakarta, Surabaya and Makassar to be held on 13, 20 and 27 August, respectively.
"Australia remains the most popular overseas study destination for Indonesian students. And alumni play a crucial role in deepening the relations and cooperation between our two countries," said Ambassador Williams.
"We invite you to join with us to celebrate the 10th anniversary of this landmark Australian film, and to meet your fellow Australian Alumni in Indonesia”.
The Australian Embassy in Jakarta and Consulate-Generals in Makassar and Surabaya host the events to maintain ongoing connections with alumni while celebrating the 10th-anniversary screening of "The Sapphires". The film tells a story about the McCrae sisters, four talented Australian indigenous singers from Victoria whose biggest dream is to become as famous as their Motown idols.
Prior to the film screening, alumni will have an opportunity to network and broaden their connections as well as a chance to join the quiz and win exclusive merchandise from the Australia Global Alumni and Australian Embassy.
