Australian Ambassador to Indonesia Penny Williams PSM visited Cilegon, Banten province on Wednesday 23 November.
While in Cilegon, Ambassador Williams toured the NS BlueScope Indonesia and Molycop Indonesia factories, and the Golden Grand flour mill.
“Visiting Cilegon was a great opportunity to see how Australian inputs and expertise are being used to produce world class products in Indonesia,” Ambassador Williams said.
The focus of the visit was to meet with companies with strong investment links to Australia and learn more about how they are using the opportunities available under the Indonesia-Australia Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (IA-CEPA).
“Cilegon is a significant manufacturing hub in Indonesia, and I am proud to see Australian companies contributing to the development of the manufacturing sector in Indonesia.”
