The Australian Embassy and Lembaga Pengelola Dana Pendidikan (LPDP) Indonesia launched the LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships yesterday.
This exciting collaboration between LPDP and Australia Awards opens up new opportunities for Indonesian students to study in Australia.
The opening round will offer 50 scholarships for Masters-level study in Australia in 2025.
“Australia’s scholarships program in Indonesia has been running for more than 70 years,” said Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Penny Williams PSM. “We are proud to work in partnership with LPDP to offer more opportunities for Indonesian students to receive a world class Australian education.”
The LPDP-Australia Awards collaboration was jointly announced by Indonesian President Widodo and Australian Prime Minister Albanese at the Australia-Indonesia Annual Leader’s Meeting in Australia in July 2023.
“LPDP is pleased to partner with Australia Awards to fulfil the vision of our leaders for enhanced and expanded scholarship opportunities for Indonesian students studying in Australia,” said Andin Hadiyanto, President Director of LPDP.
The 2025 LPDP-Australia Awards Scholarships will target study programs relevant to the blue economy, green/renewable energy, and digital/information technology.
