Grants to Support Australia-Indonesia Digital Transformation

The Australia-Indonesia knowledge and innovation partnership program, KONEKSI has announced the recipients of its new collaborative research grants. Eighteen projects from 96 institutions across Australia and Indonesia have been awarded grants focusing on Digital Transformation in Health, Energy, Food Security, and the Blue Economy.

“Congratulations to all the successful recipients. This initiative will deepen engagement between Australian and Indonesian researchers, fostering deep partnerships that drive innovative policy solutions,” said Madeleine Moss, Minister Counsellor for Governance and Human Development at the Australian Embassy in Jakarta.

The selected projects reflect the highest standards of academic and practical collaboration, with the potential to deliver transformative outcomes. The projects address the challenges and opportunities posed by digital transformation, offering new and innovative technology-based solutions to healthcare, energy efficiency, and resilient food systems.

Through this initiative, Australia and Indonesia have reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening ties in the research and innovation sector, working together to support shared goals of sustainable development and mutual prosperity. KONEKSI is a platform for deepening cooperation and translating research into practical, inclusive policies that benefit both nations.
