Today, the #AussieBanget University Roadshow launched at Universitas Padjadjaran (UNPAD), with Australian Chargé d'Affaires to Indonesia, Gita Kamath, speaking to students and academics.
“We are excited to bring #AussieBanget University Roadshow to Universitas Padjadjaran. The Roadshow provides students a platform to explore the Australia-Indonesia relationship, and Australia the opportunity to highlight opportunities in education and research collaboration,” said Chargé d’Affaires Kamath.
During the Roadshow’s thematic panel, Ms Kristy Graham, of the Australian Sustainable Finance Institute CEO joined Indonesian experts, Professor Dian Masyita, UNPAD, and Tiara Utami, Australia Indonesia Partnership for Economic Development (PROSPERA), to discuss the role of sustainable finance in creating economic opportunities and supporting Australia and Indonesia’s joint efforts on climate change.
The Roadshow also included sessions on studying at Australian universities, research collaboration opportunities through Australia’s Knowledge Partnership Platform (KONEKSI), and showcased a range of scholarships available to students from the Australia Awards Scholarships program.
The #AussieBanget University Roadshow was first held in 2024 to mark the 75th Anniversary of Australia-Indonesia Diplomatic Relations. In 2025, the Roadshow will continue visiting universities across Indonesia fostering ongoing educational exchanges and celebrating Australia and Indonesia’s people-to-people ties.
