Today, Australian Chargé d’Affaires to Indonesia, Gita Kamath, attended Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia’s Official Launch at its joint campus in Bandung.
“Education is a vital part of the Australia-Indonesia relationship. Australia’s Deakin University’s joint initiative with the UK’s Lancaster University will widen Indonesian students’ access to the international education experience, in line with the Indonesian government’s priority of advancing human capital development through education,” said Chargé d’Affaires Kamath.
Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia is a partnership between two universities featured in the top 200 of QS World University Rankings and integrates the excellence of Australian and British teaching and learning.
This unique partnership offers students the opportunity of receiving globally recognised dual degree qualifications in the fields of business and computing, helping students enhance their international outlook and develop their intercultural competencies.
The campus is set to welcome the first student cohort in September 2025.
