Australian Tech Companies Explore Digital Transformation in Indonesia

Media Release

23 October 2025

Ten Australian tech companies participated in the Tech in Asia Conference and the Kumpul Connect for Change Summit 2025 in Jakarta from 21-23 October 2025. The Australian companies are participating in a dynamic three-day program led by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) through its Landing Pad program.

This Australian Landing Pad cohort is hosting leading Australian tech companies Atlassian and Jobstreet by Seek, alongside eight high-growth Australian scale-ups including Cybe, IDmeta, Nuix, PI Exchange, Sekuro, Sphere For Good, TomorrowX and UnicornShift. The companies are in Jakarta to explore potential collaborations and partnerships to support Indonesia’s dynamic digital transformation priorities.

“Through Austrade’s Landing Pad, pioneering Australian technology companies are not just exporting technology solutions — they’re building bridges of trust, innovation, and partnership that empower Indonesia’s digital transformation for the future,” said Lauren Adams, Trade and Investment Commissioner and SEA Regional Lead for Technology at Austrade.

The Australia Pitch Stop, an exclusive session at the Tech in Asia Conference, provided a platform for Australian tech scaleups and companies to demonstrate their cutting-edge products and solutions spanning AI, data analytics, cyber security, digital identity, and ESG for payments to key customers. Austrade hosted a thought-provoking panel discussion, where Atlassian and Nuix shared their thoughts on how data, security, and technology can empower employee innovation, while ensuring trusted ecosystems and reducing digital friction.

Outside the conference halls, the three-day Landing Pad program was packed with curated business meetings to bring Australian tech capabilities together with Indonesia's digital transformation priorities.

Austrade’s Landing Pads help Australian businesses make informed decisions about international expansion with tailored advice, industry mentoring, and in-market experiences. The Landing Pad program is one of Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy initiatives, launched in March 2024.
