Seventeen Australian Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) companies strengthened partnerships and showcased innovative solutions from 9-12 September at Australia Business Lounge at Mining Indonesia 2026 in Jakarta.
The Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade), in partnership with Austmine, facilitated targeted business matching and industry engagement between Australian METS companies and Indonesian mining stakeholders. The curated program created opportunities for collaboration across technology, innovation and sustainable mining practices.

The Australia Business Lounge at Mining Indonesia 2026 provided a valuable platform for Australian and Indonesian businesses to come together and explore partnerships, share knowledge and identify ways to support a productive, safe and sustainable mining industry," said Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner at Austrade Indonesia, Stephen Skulley.

The Australia Business Lounge was delivered in partnership with Austmine, a member of the Australian Government's Trade Diversification Network (TDN) helping Australian businesses diversify exports and build commercial relationships in priority international markets.
The Australia Business Lounge and industry networking events were supported by Investment New South Wales, Invest and Trade Western Australia and Trade and Investment Queensland.
