  • Entrepreneurs Unveil Breakthroughs in Plastics Innovation at IPPIN
    Prominent Indonesian entrepreneurs presented cutting-edge solutions to plastic waste at the Indo-Pacific Plastics Innovation Network (IPPIN) Indonesia Chapter Demo Day in Jakarta, today. The event brought together entrepreneurs, policymakers, investors, and industry leaders to accelerate innovation in plastics management.

  • Australia and Indonesia Strengthen Disaster Management with Disability Service Unit Launch
    The Australia-Indonesia Partnership for Disaster Risk Management (SIAP SIAGA) together with Bali Provincial Government, and Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD) jointly launched the Disability Service Unit for Disaster Management today. The Disability Service Unit is designed to ensure disaster management recognises people with disabilities as indispensable partners whose insights and experiences are key to creating resilient communities.

  • Australian Ambassador Visits Gorontalo and North Sulawesi
    Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Rod Brazier, visited Gorontalo, Gorontalo Province and Manado and Tomohon, North Sulawesi Province from 22-24 October 2025. Ambassador Brazier was accompanied by Australian Consul-General in Makassar, Todd Dias, and Australian Defence Attaché Brigadier Micah Batt.

  • Australian Tech Companies Explore Digital Transformation in Indonesia
    Ten Australian tech companies participated in the Tech in Asia Conference and the Kumpul Connect for Change Summit 2025 in Jakarta from 21-23 October 2025. The Australian companies are participating in a dynamic three-day program led by the Australian Trade and Investment Commission (Austrade) through its Landing Pad program.

  • Australian Ambassador Visits Maluku and North Maluku Provinces
    Australian Ambassador to Indonesia, Rod Brazier, visited Ambon, Maluku Province as well as Morotai and Ternate, North Maluku Province from 18-21 October 2025. Ambassador Brazier was accompanied by Australian Consul-General in Makassar, Todd Dias, and Australian Defence Attaché Brigadier Micah Batt.

    Australian Deputy Ambassador to Indonesia, Gita Kamath, visited Yogyakarta from 16 -19 October 2025, engaging in cultural, educational, and community-focused activities underscoring the strong and growing partnership between Australia and Indonesia.
